Explanations on student certificates
Our agency offers the student rate and applies it at the time of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:
- Certify under oath that you have a valid, compliant document accepted by the authorities. Below are the acceptance or rejection criteria established by the Ministry of Culture.
- You agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these conditions.
- Understand that only the authorities at the Machu Picchu entrance will evaluate and make the final decision regarding the validity of your document. If it is rejected for any reason, you will be denied access to the site.
- You accept that the decision lies solely with the authorities and that we cannot be held responsible for any denial of entry.
- You must present the original physical document on the day of the visit.
Description
The Peruvian Government offers student discounts, which we also apply. However, the Ministry of Culture grants these discounts only to holders of national student cards that meet strict criteria. Being a student or holding any kind of document is not enough: the card must be accepted by the authorities, who will thoroughly verify it at the entrance on the day of your visit.
Our agency applies the discount and reserves your ticket at the student rate. However, we are not able to verify your document before the visit, even if you send it to us. Only the authorities have that power. That is why we aim to clearly explain which cards are accepted and which are not. Even if we wish all students could benefit, the final decision belongs to the Ministry of Culture.
By booking online, you certify that you have a document that meets 100% of the criteria listed below and that you accept full responsibility in case of refusal by the authorities. Therefore, by making a reservation, you agree to these conditions and to present the original document on the day of the service. If you are not 100% certain your card is valid or will be accepted, we recommend purchasing the adult ticket.
